Xavier is an illustrator and graphic designer from Hong Kong currently based in Brooklyn, NY. Working with clients such as Bloomberg Businessweek, Vice, Medium, Culture Trip and recently Black Lips.

JULIAN MASTER

Julian Master is a documentary photographer living in New York City. His work explores the relationships between people in big cities.

HOW DO YOU KNOW EACH OTHER?

We met on a project where we drove an RV from Denver to Austin for VICE and Geico. Shoutout to Joe Burger for making it happen! We’ve been friends ever since

WHAT WAS YOUR PROCESS IN BRINGING THIS DESIGN TOGETHER?

We talked about some ideas that could work well with Julian’s photography. We looked at funny t-shirts. Xavier drew some shirt designs. Julian sent batches of photos. Xavier made some mocks. We picked our favorite.

WHAT’S THE IDEA BEHIND THE DESIGN?

It’s a nice brochure for when you come to New York so you know what to expect.
