Knafeh is a famous Palestinian dessert known for its orange color and incredible cheese. It is also enjoyed around the region in different variations.

But knafeh is more than just a food. In a two part series, uncivilized media tells a story of identity, belonging and politics through knafeh, on journey that takes us to New York, Amman and Nablus.

This edition is for all the knafeh lovers out there, but also those who connect to identities, memories and home through culture and food.

Proceeds from the edition will go to uncivilized media's storytelling - to make videos sharing the stories of peoples and places from around the world that have been underrepresented, silenced or erased.
