Walid Bouchouchi is the founder of Akakir Studio, a visual arts and graphic design practice. Founded by in 2016, the studio's philosophy aims to build bridges between cultures through imagining and developing vibrant visual languages.
At the heart of Akakir Studio is a need to create an authentic narrative; stripped of folklorism and rooted in the factual truth of the cultural context of each project.
The Studio is based between Marseille, Paris and Algiers, incidentally bridging both banks of the Mediterranean. Its clients' list range from cultural institutions, museums and international festivals to independent artists or magazines — all willing to build and improve similar bridges.
Since graduating from the Algiers' École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Walid continuously advocates the values of universalist design to support and nurture a genuine multicultural dialogue. His personal artistic work focuses on designing multilingual alphabets and fonts, often merging Arabic, Amazigh and Latin scripts.

Delivery
Orders are printed and shipped when the campaign ends and are mailed first-class. Each campaign needs to reach it's minimum sales in order to be successful.
NOTE: if you order garments from multiple campaigns they will be printed & shipped separately. Delivery charges are calculated separately for each campaign and added to your shopping bag.
