Hello, I am José responsible for the work that appears around here. I came to tell you a bit about myself.

I am 26 years old and I live in Brazil, specifically in Minas Gerais. My art education came from home, or rather, from my mother's belly. My grandfather was an artist, my father was an artist, and now I am an artist. Even though I never had formal art education, the subject was very familiar to me. I grew up watching my father draw and paint, and seeing my grandfather's paintings hanging on the walls. This always gave me the certainty of where I was going.

However, after finishing high school, my first attempt to kill my passion for art was in studying law, but I gave up. Then I tried administration, but it wasn't for me. Something was missing.

Before leaving college, I was already doing freelance work in tattooing, photography, and illustration. But it was only when my father had a stroke and was hospitalized that I started painting.

It was a way to sublimate my fear into something beautiful. Painting became my main focus, and during the pandemic, I decided to immerse myself in visual arts. 2019 was the year, and I was painting every day. It continued for almost 2 years, with one painting a day. I painted as if there were no tomorrow.

In 2021, I had my first solo exhibition in Brasilia. I was amazed, impressed, and extremely excited. When the exhibition ended, sales began to decline, to the point where I could not sustain myself with artistic work. That's when Zala invited me to mint my first work on Tezos. On November 5th, 2021, I sold my first editions, and there, in the genesis, was a piece about Brazilian popular culture. Since then, I have been working for almost 2 years with NFT, web3.0, and the internet.
