Ograda Type Company SRL is a small independent digital foundry from a small village in the Romanian mountainside where the dog sometimes runs to the near-by sheep-fold, grandmothers make cookies and the neighbours moonshine.
On this t-shirt it is featured one of the foundries typefaces called Pebbles due to its sharp and angular aspect, inspired by 70's surf culture and spaghetti westerns in part. The thing that jumps at you first is probably its clumsiness, the way letters are drawn. It might even evoke wood type you once saw somewhere and might not be wrong about it. Yet the complete lack of any curved lines, its stockiness has that “Bam! Bam!” quality to it.
