When they said 'Styled in Italy. Built in Britain' what they really meant was 'All the hard work was done by Harris Mann, but we don't think that sounds sexy enough'. I'd argue that any designer who worked on the original Escort and Capri, before giving the world the Triumph TR7 and Princess, should have been more than sexy enough to advertise this car, but what do I know? Also, the Ital was definitely not just a facelifted Marina, so you can pack that in before you even start.
