A free-spirited songwriter, guitarist, poet, visual storyteller and artist born to a multicultural family, in the city of Ibadan, Nigeria. Oluwatomiwa Oyakhilome Suleiman, known artistically as Tommy WÁ considers himself an artist with multi - soulful genres at the brim of his DNA. Offering an introspective organic blend of groovy Afro Indie-Folk acoustics and poetic monologues. Built on rich folkloric native wisdom, Tommy WÁ’s works brings to light a sub-conscious knowledge, musically translated to his listeners.
Now based in Ghana, Tommy WÁ releases his latest single ‘Gravity’, featuring Abuja-based indie rock band The Isomers, who he connected with on a recent trip home to Nigeria. The collaboration brings to live an otherworldly experience, transporting listeners back and forth between the lightness of space and the ‘Gravity’ of earth.
