Charity Leonard Cheshire & Mimi Butlin have teamed up to breakdown the stereotypes of what disability looks like, because it looks like all of us.
I’m Mimi Butlin an artist and illustrator and creator of @cantgoout_imsick
I make art to amplify the experiences of many sick and disabled women. My work is designed to make disabled and chronically ill women feel seen. To highlight medical trauma, inaccessibility, to break down disability stereotypes and to provoke conversation around the many issues we face in a world not built for us.
The slogan for these t-shirts is a very personal message to me. As someone with an invisible disability I am aware of my privileges in it, but it also sometimes means I feel disconnected from the disabled community. Sometimes not feeling like I am ‘disabled enough’ to receive adequate care and consideration. There is no one look when it comes to disability. I was really delighted to be given an opportunity to spread this message by Leonard Cheshire and for all of us to group together to say ‘Disabled looks like me!'
Money raised from the sale of the t-shirts will go towards help Leonard Cheshire to continue supporting disabled people to live, learn and work as independently as they choose.

Orders are printed and shipped when the campaign ends and are mailed first-class. Each campaign needs to reach it's minimum sales in order to be successful.
NOTE: if you order garments from multiple campaigns they will be printed & shipped separately. Delivery charges are calculated separately for each campaign and added to your shopping bag.
