Based on the B£1 Len Garrison note, featuring details from the graffiti wall at Stockwell Skate Park and the Barrier Block on Coldharbour Lane.
This t-shirt is inspired by the Brixton Pound 1 note featuring the historian and educationalist Len Garrison, designed by This Ain't Rock'N'Roll. The design of the t-shirt uses detailing from graffiti on Aytoun Road by Stockwell Skate Park. The pattern is based on the design of the Barrier Block housing estate on Coldharbour Lane.
The reworking of the design for this t-shirt was a collorationg between This Ain't Rock'N'Roll and Jude de Berker from The Turpentine, a creative hub based in the heart of Brixton.

The Brixton Pound is a local currency that can only be spent at independent shops in the area, with the purpose of creating more local trade, increasing social connections and challenging people to think about the financial system. As well as a currency it operates a pay-what-you-feel cafe where all of the menu is sourced from surplus ingredients. Profits from the cafe and retail sales are placed in the Brixton Fund, a grant-giving initiative that supports local community projects.
