Am I Awake Or Am I Dreaming ??

Romina Malta is an art director and illustrator based in Buenos Aires. Her work involves projects with artists, musicians and record labels mainly. She currently collaborates with Urbit. Her discipline is based on the use of both digital media and pencils, brushes and crayons. Almost entirely monochrome, the use of color is "a mystery" to her (It's Nice that, 2020). In her side project, DOOR - https://door.link- you will find weekly mixtapes, created mainly to slow down the pace of everyday life.

My practice is a bit messy. I usually have notebooks next to me, as well as my ipad and my laptop.I try to spend as little time as possible in front of the screen, it makes my day easier. Possibly that need to disconnect feeds my flow of ideas. In general, anything inspires me and anything displeases me, anytime, anywhere, I'm with my eyes open looking at everything around me. There is no one specific thing that I focus my attention on for a long time.
