To mark International Women’s Day 2025, Vick Hope has partnered with Amnesty International UK to launch ‘Threads of Resistance’—a limited-edition t-shirt collection supporting women affected by conflict.
In collaboration with three female artists— Tiffanie Delune (the DRC), Halima Aziz (Palestine), and Dar Al Naim (Sudan) — the collection celebrates cultural heritage while exposing the crises women face in war.
From sexual violence to displacement and starvation, women often pay the highest price, with systemic inequalities deepening their suffering.
Yet, even in conflict, resilience and beauty endure. Each design reflects this reality, offering a way to stand in solidarity.
Tiffanie Delune was born to a French mother and Belgian-Congolese father in France. Inspired by Maya Angelou’s poem ‘Caged Birds’, Delune’s the abstract artwork shows the rich, lush landscape of DR Congo and highlights the strength of Congolese women by depicting them as birds flying from their heart-shaped cage.
All proceeds support Amnesty International UK’s work defending human rights, exposing injustice, and fighting for a fairer, safer world.
Profits (minus production costs) will go to Amnesty International United Kingdom Section: Company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales no. 01735872.
Our t-shirts are Earth Positive and made by Continental Clothing, from organic (GOTS) cotton.

Orders are printed and shipped when the campaign ends and are mailed first-class. Each campaign needs to reach it's minimum sales in order to be successful.
NOTE: if you order garments from multiple campaigns they will be printed & shipped separately. Delivery charges are calculated separately for each campaign and added to your shopping bag.
